    Google has found the root cause of this issue and have deployed a fix. Their summary is below:

    We’re happy to update you that we’ve managed to identify the root cause responsible for the disruption to Assistant Radio, and have deployed a fix. We are starting to see queries that were previously punted, now trigger as intended and fulfill users’ requests to stream radio. We’ll continue to monitor the roll out of the fix to ensure it fully resolves the underlying issue and that Assistant Radio is fully restored. In the coming days we will conduct a postmortem to better understand what went wrong, and how we could, in the future, address similar issues more optimally. Thank you for your support and patience while we investigated the matter and worked to restore service.

    Google has confirmed that there is an issue with Google Assistant devices, specifically the feature where saying "Hey Google, Play [Station Name]" is not working. They have acknowledged the problem and are currently working on resolving it. The problem is affecting all devices, including speakers, displays, mobile phones, and automobiles, as well as the majority of radio providers. Unfortunately, they are unable to provide an estimated time of resolution as they are still investigating the root cause. As soon as the issue is resolved, Google will update the website below to provide the latest information.
